You encounter the following error message when signing in your Trend Micro Account so you can use Trend Micro Security for Microsoft Edge browser extension:
"Unable to Continue. Please Try Again. (Error 401)"
This issue happens when your computer’s clock is not set in the correct local time.
- Go to Start > Settings > Time & language > Date & time.
- Set the time and date according to your local time.
- Open your Microsoft Edge Browser, and then click the Trend Micro Security extension.
- Click the icon, and then click the Sign in button.
- Enter your email address and password to log in.
