How to uninstall Trend Micro Antivirus on Mac

Learn how to uninstall or remove Trend Micro Antivirus on your Mac computer if you need to reinstall or are no longer using this product.

Uninstall Antivirus for Mac

1. Open Spotlight, then type Trend Micro.
2. Select Uninstall Trend Micro Antivirus.

   
   Enter your Mac password when necessary.

3. Click Uninstall, then click OK.

   

   

4. After uninstallation completes, you will see this pop up. Click OK to finish removing the program.

   

Use the Uninstall Tool

Only use this tool if you are having difficulties removing Trend Micro Antivirus using the Uninstaller.

1. Click the button below to download the Uninstall Tool:

2. Double-click UninstallTool.zip to extract the Uninstall Tool.
3. Double-click UninstallTool.app to run the file.
4. Check the box with I have copied my serial number…, then click Uninstall.
5. Type your username and password to allow Finder in removing the Trend Micro Antivirus extension.
