How to install and activate Password Manager

Learn how to set up Password Manager included in your Trend Micro Security Suite subscription. Watch this installation tutorial or follow the step-by-step instructions in this article:

1. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/.
2. Type the email address and password you created upon the purchase.
3. Click Sign In.
4. Look for Trend Micro Password Manager, then click Download.

   

5. Select the device where you want to download the application.

   

   On Windows

   1. Select Windows.
   2. Check if your computer meets the System Requirements:
      • Windows 10/8.1
      • 300MB free hard disk space
      • 2GB Memory
      • 1 GHz Processor (*except Intel Apollo Lake, ARM, Snapdragon processors)
   3. Select how you want to download Password Manager:
      • Send Email - Sends the download link to your email.
      • Copy Link - Copies the download link, so you can paste it on a web browser.
      • Download - Downloads the installer directly.
   4. Open the downloaded installer file, then follow the directions shown on the screen.
   5. Once installed, Password Manager will ask to add its extension in your browser.
      Click Install to add its extension on your preferred browser.
   6. Create your Vault Password to begin using Password Manager.

   On Mac

   1. Select Mac.
   2. Check if your Mac meets the System Requirements:
      • MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher
      • 300MB free hard disk space
      • 2GB Memory
      • 2 GHz Processor (Intel Core 2 Duo or higher)
   3. Select how you want to download Password Manager:
      • Send Email - Sends the download link to your email.
      • Copy Link - Copies the download link, so you can paste it on a web browser.
      • Download - Downloads the installer directly.
   4. Open the downloaded installer file, then follow the directions shown on the screen.
   5. Once installed, Password Manager will ask to add its extension in your browser.
      Click Install to add its extension on your preferred browser.
   6. Create your Vault Password to begin using Password Manager.

   On iOS (iPhone/iPad)

   1. Select iOS.

      It will direct you to the App Store to download the Password Manager App.

   2. Check if your device meets the System Requirements:
      • iOS version 11.0 or higher
      • iPadOS version 13.0 or higher
   3. Tap Install.
   4. Tap Open once installation has finished.
   5. View the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then tap Continue.
   6. Sign in using your Trend Micro Account.

   On Android phone/tablet

   1. Select Android.
      It will direct you to the Google Play Store to download the Password Manager App.
   2. Check if your device meets the System Requirements:
      • Android version 6.0 or higher
   3. Tap Install, then wait for the installation to finish.
   4. Tap Open once installation has finished.
   5. View the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then tap Continue.
   6. Sign in using your Trend Micro Account.
