Compress a file

  1. Right-click the file or folder you want to zip.
  2. Select Send to, then choose Compressed (zipped) folder.

A compressed folder with the same name is created in the same location as with the original file or folder.

Extract a file

  1. Right-click the compressed file.
  2. Select Extract All, then follow the instructions.
