The latest version of Trend Micro Security is already installed and running on your Windows computer. You are already protected. ✅
This error commonly appears when you:
- Run an installer you downloaded earlier, not realizing the program is already up to date
- Try to reinstall Trend Micro after a purchase or renewal
- Re-use an older installer file from a previous download
What Should I Do?
Option 1: Keep your current installation (recommended)
You do not need to do anything — the latest version is already protecting your computer.
- Click Close to exit the installer. You're all set! ✅
Option 2: Reinstall Trend Micro Security
If you want to do a fresh reinstall of the same version, follow these steps:
