Lost Device Protection helps you find your iOS/iPadOS device on a Google map through GPS, cell towers, or Wi-Fi. It lets you to trigger an alarm even if it is in Silent Mode.

Set up Trend Micro Lost Device Protection

  1. Tap the Mobile Security app.
  2. Scroll down, then tap Lost Device Protection.
  3. Tap the Next button to Allow Location permission to use Lost Device Protection.
  4. On the right pane, tap Location under ALLOW MOBILE SECURITY TO ACCESS.
  5. Select either While Using the App, or Always.
    Provide your Touch ID or Face ID if needed.

What to do when iPhone or iPad goes missing

  1. On a computer, open a web browser.
  2. Go to the Lost Device Protection portal.
  3. Click the Find Now button.
  4. Log in using your Trend Micro Account.

    The Lost Device Protection portal will open and show devices you saved and registered.

    • Click Refresh to get the location of your mobile device and will display it on a map.
    • Click Alarm to sound an alarm on your lost device, even if it is set to Silent.

      After a few seconds, your device will make a sound so you can find where it is.

      Tap the screen of your device to turn off the sound.
