Fraud Buster

DESCRIPTION

Fraud Buster is the feature to protect users from the Fraud message. It includes the below functions:

  • iMessage Scan: We will scan the SMS / MMS message which sent by unknown sender. If the message include the risk links, we will move the message to junk folder of iMessage.
  • Camera Roll Scan: We will parse the links on the image that user chose from Camera Roll of Photo and scan the links. If the image include the risk links, we will have a warning to alert user.
DATA COLLECTED

iMessage Scan:

  • SMS/MMS content (which may include personal and sensitive personal data, , URL, phone number, etc)
  • Sender ID (mail or phone number)

Camera Roll Scan:

  • Text content of image (which may include personal and sensitive personal data, URL, phone number, etc)
  • Scanned image

The data from Fraud Buster will be used to enhance fraud detection. The collected data is deleted after 6 months.
