Trend Micro HKBN HomeGuard sometimes does not display the correct information about your devices or detect that your devices are connected to the network.

Why did this happen?

  • Your HKBN Gateway and your devices is not connected to the same network.
  • Your HKBN Gateway is not connected to the main router.
  • Your HKBN Gateway is only connected to a Wi-Fi repeater.
  • The devices that you want to protect is not under a single subnet.

What should I do next?

You can either:

  • Create more network traffic on your device:
    • Search anything using any search engine.
    • Watch videos online.
    • Access social networking sites.
    • Use apps that need Internet connection.
  • Manually add on your device:
    1. Connect your device to the same network as your Station.
    2. On the device you want to add, go to http://addme.tm using any web browser.
    3. Type the Device Name, Brand (optional) and Model (optional) of your device.

      Name This Device in HKBN HomeGuard

    4. Tap Save.
