Know to configure your D-Link Modem - Cobra AC5300 router to enable the DHCP mode of your Home Network Security.


Enable DHCP Mode

  1. Make sure your Home Network Security is turned ON and connected to your home router.
  2. On your Home Network Security app, tap the Menu icon.
  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Tap Station Configuration.

  5. Under Station Network Settings, select DHCP Mode.

  6. Take note of your Router IP Address and Station IP Address. Click Next to continue configuring DHCP Mode.

  7. Using your computer or mobile device, open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome).
  8. On the address bar, type the Router IP address you took note on the previous step then press ENTER.
  9. Log in to the Admin console by entering your router's username and password.
  10. On the top menu, click Settings, and then click Network.
  11. Click Advanced Settings, and under DHCP Server, set Status to Disabled.

  12. Restart your router by doing the following:
    1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the router, then check if the front panel lights are turned off.
    2. Wait for 1 minute, then plug the power cord back to your router.

  13. On your Home Network Security app, you should now see the Devices Protected status.
