Scan for Sensitive Data with Cleaner One Pro

Learn how to scan and protect your sensitive data, such as ID numbers, passport numbers, and credit card details with Cleaner One Pro.

Note: This feature is currently only available on Cleaner One Pro preinstalled on ASUS devices and its AI PC edition.

1. Open Cleaner One Pro and Start Sensitive Data Detection

   Follow these steps to begin scanning for sensitive data:

   1. Open the Cleaner One Pro app on your device.
   2. In the left menu, go to Advanced and select Sensitive Data Detection.
2. Select Folders to Scan

   Choose the folders you want to scan:

   1. Select either the Downloads or Documents folder.
   2. To add more folders, click Add Folder and choose the folders you wish to scan.
   3. After selecting the folders, click Scan Now to start scanning.
3. Review and Protect Sensitive Files

   After the scan, review and secure your sensitive files:

   1. A list of files containing sensitive information will be displayed. Supported file types include:
      • Documents: .txt, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx
      • Images: .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .webp
   2. Select the files you want to secure and click Move and Protect.
   3. Enter your Trend Micro account password to authorize the protection setup.
4. Manage Your Secured Files

   To view or add more secured files:

   1. Click Open Secure Folder in the Sensitive Data Detection menu to view secured files.
   2. To protect more files, click Protect more files and repeat the process from selecting folders to scanning.

Note: The secure folder is hidden in a secure location. When you open it, an "Unsealed Vault" folder will appear on your desktop to display your secured files. To lock the secured folder, close the Cleaner One Pro application by clicking the X button at the top right. The "Unsealed Vault" folder will remain hidden until you open it again via the Cleaner One Pro app.
