Trend Micro Troubleshooting Tool helps you follow the troubleshooting instructions Technical Support Engineers provides, leveraging our Smart Protection Network and Platinum technology.

  1. Download the Trend Micro Troubleshooting Tool here.
  2. Click Yes when the User Account Control window appears, then wait for the download to finish.
  3. Read the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then click Next.

  4. Read the License Agreement, then click Agree and Install.

  5. The Tutorial window will appear. Click Next to start the tutorial or click Skip to continue with the next steps.
  6. Click Get Help Now.

  7. Go to the location where you want to take a screenshot, then click the camera icon.

    Skip this step if you have nothing to show to the Technical Support Engineer.

  8. On the Step 2 dropdown list, choose I need help to fix something.

  9. After selecting the problem, click Send.
  10. Wait for one of our Technical Support Engineers to assist you.

  11. After the troubleshooting, uninstall the tool.
  12. Delete the installer file you downloaded and the extracted folder.
