How to install and activate ID Security

Learn how to setup Trend Micro ID Security included in your Trend Micro Security Suite subscription. Check out the installation tutorial video below or follow the step-by-step instructions in this article:

1. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/ using your mobile device.
2. Type the email address and password you created upon purchase.
3. Look for Trend Micro ID Security, then tap Download.

   

4. Select the device where you want to download the software.

   

   On iOS (iPhone/iPad)

   1. Select iOS.

      It will redirect you to the App Store to download the ID Security App.

   2. Check if your device meets the System Requirements:
      • iOS version 11.0 or higher
      • iPadOS version 13.0 or higher
   3. Tap Get, then tap Install to download the app.
   4. Wait for the installation to finish.
   5. Tap Open.
   6. On the notification request message box, tap Allow.
   7. Read the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then tap Accept and Continue.
   8. Read the License Agreement, then tap Accept and Continue.
   9. At the upper-right corner, tap the menu icon, then tap Settings.
   10. Sign into your Trend Micro Account that was created on purchase to activate Trend Micro ID Security.

   On Android phone/tablet

   1. Select Android.

      It will redirect you to the Play Store to download the ID Security App.

   2. Check if your device meets the System Requirements:
      • Android version 6.0 or higher
   3. Tap Install, then tap Accept to allow the app permissions.
   4. Wait for the installation to finish.
   5. Tap Open.
   6. Read the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then tap Accept and Continue.
   7. Read the License Agreement, then tap Accept and Continue.
   8. At the upper-right corner, tap the menu icon, then tap Settings.
   9. Sign into your Trend Micro Account that was created on purchase to activate Trend Micro ID Security.
