How to install and activate Trend Micro Security for Chromebooks

Learn how to setup Trend Micro Security for Chromebook included in your Trend Micro Security Suite subscription. Watch this installation tutorial or follow the step-by-step instructions in this article:

 

1. Go to Trend Micro Account.
2. Type the email address and password you created upon the purchase.
3. Click Sign In.
4. Look for Maximum Security from the list.
5. Click Add Device.

   

6. Select Chromebook.

   

7. Select how you want to download Trend Micro Security for Chromebook:

   

   • Send Email - send the download link to your email
   • Copy Link - copy the download link, then access it using a web browser
   • Download - download the installer directly
8. Choose Download to download the installer directly or Send Email to send the download link to your email.
9. Open the downloaded installer file, then follow the directions shown on the screen.
