After upgrading the Trend Micro program on your Windows computer, its system tray icon is missing.
Why did this happen?
Some Trend Micro components may have stopped working while doing the upgrade.
How do I fix this?
- Press CTRl + SHIFT + ESC keys at the same time to open Windows Task Manager.
- Under the Processes tab, find and click setup.exe, then select the End Task button.
- Try to upgrade the program again.
