- Delete your Alexa history using your Alexa-enabled device.
- Open the Alexa app on your mobile device and tap "Settings" from the sidebar menu.
- Tap "Alexa Privacy" then "Review Voice History."
- Tap on the toggle to the right of "Enable deletion by voice" so you can delete recordings using your Alexa-enabled device, such as the Echo.
- A pop-up will inform you that anybody with access to your device can now delete your recordings. Tap on "Enable."
- You can then ask your Echo "Alexa, delete everything I've said today." Alexa will ask you to confirm before doing so.
- Delete Alexaâs voice command history using the Alexa App
- Open the Alexa app on your iPhone or Android.
- Tap on the three lines in the top-left corner to pull up the sidebar.
- Tap on "Settings" at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Scroll down to and tap on "Alexa Privacy."
- Tap on "Review Voice History."
- Tap on "Date Range" to delete recordings.
- In the dropdown, scroll down to the time frame. Whatever you select will delete all transcripts within that range.
- Delete your Alexa history using the Amazon website
- Go to https://www.amazon.com/alexaprivacysettings on your browser on your Mac or PC.
- Click on "Devices.
- Click on the Smart Speaker you are using.
- Click on "Delete voice recordings" under the Echo menu.
- A pop-up will again ask you to confirm the deletion of your voice recordings.
- Click on "Delete" again and all of your recordings will be deleted.
- Secure your Amazon account by turning on âTwo-Step Verificationâ
To enable Two-Step Verification, you need to add a back-up phone number. This gives you a back-up option to get a security code if you can't use your main mobile device. To enable Two-Step Verification:
- Login to your Amazon account.
- Select âLogin & security.â
- Go to (2SV) Two-Step Verification Settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Disconnect any unused devices from your Alexa App
- Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
- Go to âDevicesâ then âAll Devicesâ. It will show a list of every single smart home device associated with your Alexa account, with icons telling you what device it is.
- elect the unused device it and tap the âSettingsâ icon in the top right. It will show the details of the device, including the skill or app it was connected through.
- Tap the trash can icon in the top right hand corner and confirm the deletion.
- Donât speak any private information.
- Always update your Smart Speakerâs software to their newest versions.
- Secure your account by using Trend Micro Password Manager.
- Make sure your Trend Micro Home Network Security is always enabled and connected.
Alexa Guard
This built-in tool uses the Echo's microphone to listen for activity in your house when you're not there. To enable the feature, follow the steps below:
- Open the latest version of the Alexa app.
- From the Home screen, tap More then tap Settings.
- Select Guard, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Skill Integration with Trend Micro Home Network Security

Enable the Trend Micro Home Network Security skill in the Alexa app and linking your Trend Micro and Alexa accounts. Once the skill has been enabled, you can ask Alexa to control Home Network Security.
- Start a Check Devices Scan - To check your network and devices, you can say: "Alexa, tell Trend Micro to scan my network."
- Get Security Status - To get a network security status update, you can say: "Alexa, ask Trend Micro if my network is ok."
- Get an Online Activity Summary - To get a summary of a profile's online activity, you can say: "Alexa, ask Trend Micro what Tom did today."
- Pause the Internet for a Profile - To disconnect the devices assigned to a profile from the internet, you simply say: "Alexa, ask Trend Micro to pause the Internet for Tom."
- Pause YouTube for a Profile - To prevent the devices assigned to a profile from accessing YouTube, you simply say: "Alexa, ask Trend Micro to turn off YouTube for Tom."
