You should download software updates as soon as they become available but before doing that here are some IMPORTANT REMINDERS before doing an update:
- DO NOT turn off the TV’s power until the update is complete.
- The TV will turn off and on automatically after completing the software update.
- Video and audio settings will be reset to their defaults after a software update.
Updating through the Internet
Internet connection is required. Please check and ensure that your internet is active.
- Go to Settings, then select Support.
- Select Software Update, then select Update Now.
- New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.

Visit the Samsung Download Center.
- Search your TV by navigating the option for Product type or if you know the Model Number select Enter Model Number.
- On the Support page, find the newest firmware version for your TV under Downloads.
