How to Disable DHCP server for Huawei HG659/HG659b router

Disable the router's DHCP server setting for the Trend Micro Home Network Security DHCP mode to work properly.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. On your computer or mobile device, open any web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
2. In the address bar, type 192.168.1.254, then press ENTER to access the management console.
3. Provide your login details. The default credentials are:
   • Username: admin
   • Password: admin
4. On the left menu, choose Home Network, then click LAN Interface.
5. Look for the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) settings.
6. Under the DHCP server, clear the DHCP server checkbox to disable the DHCP server, then click Save.
7. Restart your router.
