This article teaches you how to check up and fix network issues of devices connected to Trend Micro Home Network Security.

Windows PC

    1. On your keyboard, press Windows ⊞ + R keys at the same time to open the Run window.
    2. Type cmd, then click OK. This will open the Command Prompt.
    3. Type ping www.trendmicro.com, then press ENTER.
    4. Check the results.

      If there are lost packets, your Internet connection is not stable. Follow the remaining steps.

    5. Type ipconfig /flushdns, then press ENTER.
    6. Wait for the message saying the DNS has been flushed, then check if your connection has improved.

    Mac

    1. Go to Applications > Utilities > Network Utility.
    2. Select Ping, then type in any valid website (example: trendmicro.com).
    3. Check the results.

      If there are lost packets, your Internet connection is not stable.
