Gather troubleshooting logs can help Trend Micro Experts diagnose issues you experience with Trend Micro VPN.

Send logs from your Windows computer

  1. Open Trend Micro VPN.
  2. Replicate the issue. It is important to take note of the time while doing every steps in it.
  3. On the lower-left part of the main window, click the Settings icon.
  4. Click Logs, then click Send logs to Trend Micro for troubleshooting.
  5. Take note of the USER ID.

Send logs from your Mac computer

  1. Open the Trend Micro VPN app.
  2. Replicate the issue. It is important to take note of the time while doing every step.
  3. Go to Trend Micro VPN Preferences.
  4. In the Preferences tab, click Send troubleshooting logs.
  5. Click Start and take note of the USER ID.

Note: Log files are stored in ~/Library/Containers/com.trendmicro.MAC.TMPWP/Data/Library/Logs/Trend Micro VPN.

Send logs from your Android phone/tablet

  1. Tap the Trend Micro VPN app to open it.
  2. On the upper-left part of your screen, tap the Menu icon, then choose Settings.
  3. Under Help, tap Send logs to Trend Micro for troubleshooting.

Send logs from your iPhone/iPad

  1. Tap the Trend Micro VPN app to open it.
  2. Tap Settings you see at the bottom.
  3. Under Help, tap Send logs to Trend Micro for troubleshooting.
