You may encounter this error when trying to download Trend Micro on your iPhone/iPad, Android phone/tablet, Windows PC/laptop, or Mac.
“This app is currently not available
in your country or region”
Why is this happening?
This message appears when the Trend Micro app is not available in the country or region set in your device’s App Store (iOS/macOS), Google Play Store (Android), or Microsoft Store (Windows).
What should I do next?
You need to switch your device’s store region to a country where Trend Micro apps are supported and available.
For iPhone or iPad
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap your name, then select Media & Purchases.
- If prompted, sign in to your account.
- Choose Country/Region.
- Tap Change Country or Region.
- Select your new country or region and review the terms and conditions.
- Tap Agree twice to confirm.
- Add your payment method and billing address, then tap Next.
For Android
You can change your Google Play country or region once a year. You must wait 12 months between changes. To set a new country or region, be there and have a local payment method.
- On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app.
- At the top right, tap the profile icon.
- Tap Settings > General > Account and device preferences > Country and profiles.
- Tap the country where you want to add an account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment method for that country.
Note: Your profile can take up to 48 hours to update.
For Windows PC/Laptop
- Click the Start button on the bottom left of your screen.
- Click on Settings, then click on Time and Language.
- Click on Region.
- Under Country or Region, click the box and choose your new country.
- Close the Settings window, then restart your computer to apply the changes.
For Mac
- Open the App Store on your Mac.
- Click your name at the bottom left of the App Store window.
- Click View Information at the top right, then sign in with your Apple ID if asked.
- Scroll down and find Country or Region.
- Click Change Country or Region, then choose your new country from the list.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Enter a valid payment method and address for that country.
- Click Done to save the changes.
