You may see this message when trying to download Trend Micro on your iPhone/iPad, Android phone/tablet, Windows PC/laptop, or Mac:

"This app is currently not available in your country or region."

This article shows you how to switch your store region so you can download and install Trend Micro.


Why is this happening?

The Trend Micro app isn't available in the country or region currently set in your device's App Store (iOS/macOS), Google Play Store (Android), or Microsoft Store (Windows). To download it, you'll need to switch your store region to one where Trend Micro is supported.


How to Change Your Store Region

Follow the steps for your device below.

For iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap your name, then select Media & Purchases.
  3. If prompted, sign in to your account.
  4. Choose Country/Region.
  5. Tap Change Country or Region.
  6. Select your new country or region, then review the terms and conditions.
  7. Tap Agree twice to confirm.
  8. Add your payment method and billing address, then tap Next.
  9. You're all set! Reopen the App Store and try downloading Trend Micro again
🔔 Important Note: If Change Country or Region is grayed out, you may have an active subscription, store credit, or pending pre-order. Cancel or use these up first, then try again.

For Android

  1. On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap your profile icon.
  3. Tap Settings > General > Account and device preferences > Country and profiles.
  4. Tap the country where you want to add an account.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment method for that country.
🔔 Important Note:
  • Google Play lets you change your country only once every 12 months. You must be physically located in the new country and use a local payment method.
  • Your profile can take up to 48 hours to update. Once it does, reopen Google Play and try downloading Trend Micro again.

For Windows PC/Laptop

  1. Click the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  2. Click Settings, then click Time & Language.
  3. Click Region.
  4. Under Country or Region, click the box and choose your new country.
  5. Close Settings and restart your PC to apply the changes.
  6. You're all set! Open the Microsoft Store and try downloading Trend Micro again.

For Mac

  1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
  2. Click your name at the bottom left of the App Store window.
  3. Click View Information at the top right, then sign in with your Apple ID if asked.
  4. Scroll down and find Country or Region.
  5. Click Change Country or Region, then choose your new country from the list.
  6. Review and agree to the terms and conditions.
  7. Enter a valid payment method and billing address for that country.
  8. Click Done to save the changes.
  9. You're all set! Try downloading Trend Micro again from the App Store.
