You get this error message when trying to download Trend Micro Mobile Security on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone.

Why is this happening?

This error happens because the Trend Micro Mobile Security app is not available in the country set in your App Store or Google Play Store.

What should I do next?

Switch to a region where Trend Micro Mobile Security is available.

For iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap your name, then select Media & Purchases.
  3. If prompted, sign in to your account.
  4. Choose Country/Region.
  5. Tap Change Country or Region.
  6. Select your new country or region and review the terms and conditions.
  7. Tap Agree twice to confirm.
  8. Add your payment method and billing address, then tap Next.

For Android

You can change your Google Play country or region once a year. You must wait 12 months between changes. To set a new country or region, be there and have a local payment method.

  1. On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Settings > General > Account and device preferences > Country and profiles.
  4. Tap the country where you want to add an account.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment method for that country.

Note: Your profile can take up to 48 hours to update.
