What should I do next?
Stop all Trend Micro running processes and remove any conflicting apps.
End active Trend Micro processes
- Press the CTRL + ALT + DELETE keys at the same time, then choose Task Manager.
- Locate Trend Micro in the Processes tab.
- Right-click on every Trend Micro process and select End Process.
Uninstall conflicting software
- Click Start , then go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. You can also access it via the shortcut button below:
- Check for other antivirus or security apps installed, then click Remove or Uninstall.
- Wait for the program to uninstall, then restart your computer.
- Proceed with the Trend Micro uninstallation.
