Sometimes the filters that sort message can make mistake, They might think a real messages is a spam because of how the messages are sent or formatted. This is happens because the filter's rules can be too strict, causing it to misclassify messages.
Follow these easy steps to reclassify a legitimate message from your SMS filter in the Trend Micro ScamCheck mobile app:
- Open the Trend Micro ScamCheck mobile app.
- Tap SMS Filter at the bottom right.
- Swipe up to access the Junck Menu at the bottom.
- Select the message you want to reclassify.
- Tap the human head icon in the upper right side of the screen.
- Tap Report.
- Choose No for "Is this Phone number, scam, or annoying?"
- Select the appropriate category.
- Finally, tap Submit.
By following these steps, your report will be sent to us for review, and our database will be optimized accordingly. Please note that the review process may not yield instant results.
