You see this error while installing the Trend Micro Home Network Security app on your iPhone/iPad:
"Profile installation failed. The new MDM payload does not match the old payload. Mismatched keys: Topic, ServerURL, CheckinURL"
Why did this happen?
- Your device is enrolled in Mobile Device Management (MDM), allowing your organization to remotely manage and configure mobile devices, such as iPhones, iPads, and other platforms. It enables IT administrators to enforce security policies, distribute applications, and manage device settings.
How do I fix this?
Simply remove the Mobile Device Management (MDM) Profile in your iOS mobile device by following these steps:
- On your iPhone/iPad, go to the Settings app.
- Tap on General, then tap VPN & Device Management.
- Tap on MDM Profile, then select Remove Management.
- Try to install the Trend Micro Home Network Security app again.
If the issue persists, contact your IT administrator or MDM provider to get the latest MDM profile and permission to install the Trend Micro app.
