How to Activate and Install Trend Micro Purchased From a Retail Store

Get step-by-step instructions on how to activate and download your Trend Micro product purchased from a retail store.

I'm activating for the first time

1. Go to the Trend Micro Activation Portal.
2. Click the Get Started button.
3. Create a Trend Micro Account using your email address or phone number, then click Next.

   

4. Provide a secure password, then click Next.
5. Type your First and Last Name to complete your profile, then click Next.
6. Enter your activation code, then put a check beside I have read and agree to the Trend Micro License Agreement. Click Next.

   

7. You'll be directed to the next page to authorize auto-renewal for your subscription. Simply provide the necessary information, then click Next.

   

8. The Trend Micro Account download page will open. Start downloading the apps and programs included in your subscription.

   

I have an account but received a new activation key

1. Go to the Trend Micro Activation Portal.
2. Click the Get Started button.
3. Click Sign in below the Next button.
4. Sign in with your email address or phone number, then click Next.

   

5. Type your password, then click Next.
6. Enter your activation code, then put a check beside I have read and agree to the Trend Micro License Agreement. Click Next.

   

7. You'll be directed to the next page to authorize auto-renewal for your subscription. Simply provide the necessary information, then click Next.

   

8. The Trend Micro Account download page will open. Start downloading the apps and programs included in your subscription.
