Installation Stopped. Choose Another Folder Error on Trend Micro for Windows

You've encountered the following error message while installing Trend Micro on your Windows computer:

"Installation Stopped.
Choose another installation folder."

Why Did This Happen?

There is permission issue where you want to install the program.

Close the error message, then run the installer again.
Click C:\Program Files\Trend Micro, once you reach End-User License Agreement.
Choose another location:
In choosing a different folder location, it is recommended that you choose Local Disk (C:) drive as the root location of the folder.
Click OK, then click Agree and Install.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
