Trend Micro Data Collection Agent uses information from your Mac to improve product stability, usability and performance.

To turn it OFF:

  1. Click the Trend Micro icon on the Menu bar.
  2. Choose Open Preferences....

  3. Select the Advanced tab.

  4. Click the lock icon to make changes. Provide your Mac password when prompted.

  5. Uncheck Share computer performance information with Trend Micro.

    To turn it back ON, check the box again.

  6. Click OK to apply the changes.
