An error occured during the transfer of your activation information. Please contact Trend Micro technical support for help and mention error code 0x90000000.

Why Did This Happen?

You tried to activate the program with an activation code that has reached its total number of allowed devices.

How Do I Fix This?

You can do either of the following:

Remove Protection on an Inactive Device

  1. Go to the Trend Micro Account portal via https://account.trendmicro.com/.
  2. Enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.
  3. Click the Licenses tab, then find your ongoing subscription.
  4. Click Manage Device +, then hover over the inactive device you want to remove protection from.
  5. Click the X icon on the upper right corner of the inactive device.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.
  7. Proceed to activate again on the device that shows the error message.

Purchase a New Subscription

  1. Select your country from the list below to visit the Trend Micro Online Store:
  2. Pick the subscription that best fits your needs.
  3. Complete the checkout process to secure your new protection.
  4. Use the new activation code found on your new subscription and activate it on the affected device.
