Here are the possible reasons you continue to receive emails notifying you that your subscription is about to expire:

  • Your subscription is about to expire: You’re receiving emails because your subscription is nearing its end. Trend Micro sends early renewal reminders to ensure your subscription isn’t interrupted.
  • You bought a new subscription instead of renewing your old one: Buying a new subscription does not affect the expiration of your old one. Since they are separate subscriptions with different expiration dates, you will continue to receive notifications about the old subscription's expiry, even if you already have a new one.
  • The new activation code hasn’t been used yet: If you've purchased a new subscription or upgraded your old one, you'll likely have received a new activation code. It's important to activate it to ensure your subscription works properly.

I’ve already purchased a new subscription, so I no longer need my old one.

If you have a new subscription but are still receiving notifications about your old one expiring, make sure to cancel the auto-renewal for the old subscription to avoid being charged for it.

I’ve already paid. Why do I keep getting my subscription about to expire?

If you've already paid but still get expiration notifications, make sure you:

  1. Check the activation code in the Order Confirmation Email you received and verify that it matches the code you used to renew your subscription.
  2. Check the activation code on your devices. If it's different, update it to the one you renewed. Here are some helpful articles:
