You see this error message while using Password Manager in Mozilla Firefox:
"The service should start working again later"
Why is this happening?
- Your computer is connected via proxy server.
- Password Manager encountered an issue with the web browser.
What should I do next?
If you are using a proxy server, you need to disable the proxy settings so you can use Password Manager:
- On your keyboard, press the Windows + R keys to open the Run.
- In the Open field, type inetcpl.cpl, then click OK. This will open the Internet Options window .
- Click Connections, then click LAN settings.
- Uncheck Use a proxy server for your LAN.
- Click OK twice.
If you still see the error message or if you are not using a proxy server, you need to reinstall the Password Manager add on:
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Click the Menu button, then click Add-ons and Themes.
- Select Extensions, then look for Trend Micro Password Manager.
- Click the beside it, then select Remove.
- Go to this link: https://pwm.trendmicro.com/installExtension/firefox.
- Click Install Extension.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
