You see this error message when importing data to your Password Manager account:
Why is this happening?
- Data source is not exported from Password Manager.
- Data source is exported as “Backup for your own use”.
- The Password Manager (older version) data is modified.
- CSV file is an invalid data.
- Text file is not exported from Kaspersky Password Manager.
- The format of the text file is not a standard format of Kaspersky Password Manager.
- The data from Kaspersky Password Manager does not match the requirements of Trend Micro Password Manager.
e.g. The data has special words ( <, >, &) or the URL does not match regular expression of Trend Micro Password Manager.
What should I do next?
Backup again and ensure the data is not modified and/or is exported as Backup for Password Manager use type:
- Back up your data:
- Go to the Password Manager Menu , then choose Settings.
- Click Data tab.
- Click Export, then enter the Vault Password.
- Select Backup for Password Manager, then enter your password.
- Click Next.
- Choose a location where you would want it saved.
- Click OK, then click Done.
- Go to the Password Manager Menu , then choose Settings.
- Restore your data:
- Go back to the Password Manager Menu , then choose Settings.
- Click Data tab.
- Click Import, then enter your Vault Password.
- Choose where to import your data, then click Next.
- Import from Password Manager
- Import from LastPass
- Import from Kaspersky Password Manager
- Choose CSV file or text file, then select the file to import.
- Click Import Now.
