This error can occur if your browser saved a cookie with special characters.

How to Fix the Error

Follow these simple steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Clear the browser cache:
    • Google Chrome:
      1. Open Chrome and click on the three dots in the top right corner.
      2. Select More tools and then Clear browsing data.
      3. Choose a time range (e.g., All time).
      4. Check the box for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
      5. Click Clear data.
    • Mozilla Firefox:
      1. Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
      2. Select Options.
      3. Go to the Privacy & Security tab.
      4. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section and click Clear Data.
      5. Check the boxes for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
      6. Click Clear.
    • Microsoft Edge:
      1. Open Edge and click on the three dots in the top right corner.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Click on Privacy, search, and services.
      4. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
      5. Select a time range and check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
      6. Click Clear now.
  2. Restart the affected web browser:
    • Close the browser completely (make sure all windows are closed).
    • Open the browser again.
  3. Sign in to your Trend Micro Account again.
