Why Did This Happen?
This error can occur if your browser saved a cookie with special characters.
How to Fix the Error
Follow these simple steps to resolve the issue:
- Clear the browser cache:
- Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome and click on the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select More tools and then Clear browsing data.
- Choose a time range (e.g., All time).
- Check the box for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear data.
- Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
- Select Options.
- Go to the Privacy & Security tab.
- Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section and click Clear Data.
- Check the boxes for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
- Click Clear.
- Microsoft Edge:
- Open Edge and click on the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Click on Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
- Select a time range and check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear now.
- Google Chrome:
- Restart the affected web browser:
- Close the browser completely (make sure all windows are closed).
- Open the browser again.
- Sign in to your Trend Micro Account again.
