Protect your sensitive apps with Trend Micro App Lock

Some Android apps we use may contain sensitive information about us that needs to be kept private. Use Mobile Security's App Lock feature to prevent unauthorized access to these apps.

Turn ON the App Lock feature

1. Launch the Mobile Security app.
2. From the features list, tap Parental Controls.
3. Provide your Trend Micro account password, then tap Unlock.
4. Under the App Lock tab, toggle the switch to ON .

Lock your sensitive apps

1. Tap the apps you want to lock. The lock icon will turn blue indicating that the app is locked.

   To unlock apps, just tap it and make sure the lock icon turns gray.

2. You can also choose your preferred lock type.
   1. Tap the Lock icon in the upper right corner.
   2. Choose from: Trend Micro password, Pattern, PIN, or Fingerprint.

Turn OFF the App Lock feature

1. Launch the Mobile Security app.
2. From the features list, tap Parental Controls.
3. Provide your Trend Micro account password, then tap Unlock.
4. Under the App Lock tab, toggle the switch to OFF .
