How can I fix this?
Follow these steps to re-activate Folder Shield and keep your files safe:
- Click Set Up Now.
- Click OK when you see the message, "Please Protect Your Folder Again".
- Click Manage Folders, then select the folder you wish to protect.
- Click OK to apply the changes and secure your folder.
What if the problem continues?
- Open Trend Micro.
- Navigate to the Data tab.
- Click Configure beside Folder Shield.
- Click OK when you see the message “Please Protect Your Folder Again”.
- Click Manage Folders' and select the folder you wish to protect.
- Click OK twice to confirm the settings.
- Restart your computer and try the setup again.
- Ensure you have the latest version of Trend Micro installed on your computer.
