You see this error message while updating Trend Micro Home Network Security:
"Reconnect Your Station
Please check that the Station is plugged into the LAN port of the router and try again."
Why did this happen?
The Home Network Security Station has been disconnected from the router while its firmware is updating to the latest version.
What should I do next?
Make sure that your Station is connected to one of the LAN ports of your router.
- Connect the power adapter to the power port of your Station, then plug it to a power outlet.
- Plug one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port of your Station, then plug the other end to one of the LAN ports of your router.
Your Station will now be connected to your router
The Station should not be connected to network equipments such as switches, hubs, extenders, or repeaters.
