Default Collection

HouseCall for Home Networks v1.2.0 automatically collects and transmits the following data, some of which may be considered personal data in certain jurisdictions, after installing/enabling the product. It is necessary to collect this data to provide the security functions on this product. Therefore, you cannot disable these features. If you do not want Trend Micro to access this data, you should uninstall and stop using the product.

Security Check

DESCRIPTION

This data is needed to check for and identify any vulnerabilities in those devices connected to your network.

DATA COLLECTED

LAN IP address
Public router IP address to client
Hostname
Network information (including Wi-Fi SSID)
Vulnerable device information (including CVE number, request/response data, system/firmware version)

CONSOLE LOCATION

This feature cannot be disabled.

Configurable Features

HouseCall for Home Networks v1.2.0 includes the following features, which may collect and transmit the following data, some of which may be considered personal in certain jurisdictions, to Trend Micro. You can disable any of these features at any time to prevent the corresponding data from being sent to Trend Micro.

Send Troubleshooting Logs

DESCRIPTION

Troubleshooting logs help Trend Micro investigate issues in the product. If this feature is disabled, Trend Micro may not have sufficient information to properly troubleshoot and resolve product issues.

Anonymous Improvement Features

You may optionally help improve HouseCall for Home Networks v1.2.0 if you choose to enable the following features. By enabling the features, the product will collect and transmit anonymous system information, product information, and user interactions within the product to Trend Micro.

DESCRIPTION

Through use of integrated modules from third-party service providers (Amazon Mobile Analytics, Amazon Kinesis, Google Firebase), Trend Micro collects this data in order to provide better customer service.

Event timestamps
System information (including time zone, language, platform / operating system, device model, location)
Wi-Fi network information (including SSID, BSSID, MAC SHA-1)
User interaction data with the product (including screens visited, items clicked, number of users, number of sessions, session duration)
Product behavior (first launch time, number of times and timestamp when app opens, app update versions and timestamp)
