Below are the current known issues and product limitations affecting Trend Micro VPN. These issues have been observed since Version 5.9 and continue to appear in Version 6.0. This page will be updated as soon as new information or fixes become available.
- VPN Does Not Automatically Turn On After Device Restart After restarting your device, the VPN does not automatically reconnect. To remain protected, you will need to open the Trend Micro VPN app and manually enable/turn on the VPN each time your device restarts.
- Possible Slowdown in Internet Speed
Using Trend Micro VPN may result in reduced internet speeds. If you experience slow performance, try switching to a different server location on the Trend Micro VPN console to help improve connection quality.
