Configure your router to disable DHCP mode so you can recover your router settings when not using Trend Micro Home Network Security or for troubleshooting purposes.

DHCP Mode (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) allows Home Network Security to host its own DHCP server to manage device IP addresses.

  1. Open the Home Network Security app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then select Settings.
  3. Tap Station Configuration. Take note of your Router IP address.

  5. On the address bar, type the Router IP address you took note on the previous step then press ENTER.
  6. Log in to the Admin console using your router username and password.
  7. Look for the DHCP settings, then enable the DHCP server.
  8. Save the changes.
  9. Restart your router:
    1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the router, then check if the front panel lights are turned OFF.
