Set up your router to activate DHCP mode, enabling Trend Micro Home Network Security to protect all connected devices.
Understanding DHCP Mode

- Launch the Home Network Security application on your smartphone.
- Tap the Menu icon and choose Settings.
- Select Station Configuration.
- Under STATION NETWORK SETTINGS, choose DHCP Mode.
- Record your Router IP Address and Station IP Address, then click Next.
- Open a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox) on your computer or mobile device.
- Enter the Router IP address noted earlier in the address bar and press ENTER.
- Log in to the Admin console with your router's username and password.
- Locate the DHCP settings and disable the DHCP server.
- Save the changes.
- Restart your router by following these steps:
- Disconnect the power cord from the router and ensure the front panel lights are off.
- Wait for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the router.
- Allow a minute or two for the router to power back on.
- Reopen the Home Network Security app and verify the "Devices Protected" status.
