Keeping your Family Circle updated means your loved ones stay protected from phone and SMS scams in Trend Micro ScamCheck. Here’s how to add new members, remove someone, or re-invite someone you previously removed.
Add a Member to Your Family Circle
💡 Before you start: Make sure you’ve already Created Your Family Circle.
- Open the Trend Micro ScamCheck app.
- Go to Family Circle and tap Invite or View Details.
- Tap Invite Member.
- Create a profile by entering the member’s name.
- Tap Invite.
- Choose how to share the invitation:
- Scan the QR code
- Copy the link
- Share via apps
- Ask the person to:
- Install or open Trend Micro ScamCheck
- Enable AI Protection
- Set up SMS Filter, Call Block, and Web Guard
Remove a Member from Your Family Circle
If you no longer want someone in your Circle, you can remove them anytime.
- Open the Trend Micro ScamCheck app.
- Go to Family Circle.
- Select the member you want to remove.
- Tap the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
- Choose Remove [member name].
Removing someone will stop protection sharing and scam alerts for that person.

Re-Invite a Removed Member
You can easily re-add a member you’ve removed before.
- Open the Trend Micro ScamCheck app.
- Go to Family Circle.
- Tap Invite Member.
- If you already created a profile for them, you’ll see their name under Suggested.
- Tap Invite to send them a new link.
- If their name does not appear, create a new profile and invite them again.
