Opened Trend Micro ScamCheck but can’t find Family Circle? Don’t worry — it’s likely due to your app version or subscription type. Here’s how to check, fix, and unlock Family Circle so you can share scam protection with loved ones.
Check Your App Version
Family Circle is available in the latest version of the Trend Micro ScamCheck app. If you’re using an older version, it may not show.
- Go to your device’s App Store or Google Play.
- Search for Trend Micro ScamCheck.
- Update to the latest version available.
Check Your Subscription Type
Currently, Family Circle is available for subscriptions purchased directly through:
- Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad)
- Google Play Store (Android)
📝Note: Subscriptions purchased through online Trend Micro stores or retail boxes do not yet support Family Circle.
🔜Good news: You can still use your subscription to protect your loved ones by adding their devices, and support for Family Circle will be added in a future update.
Upgrading to Get Family Circle
You can upgrade to a plan that includes Family Circle if:
- Trial users: Upgrade from trial to a full plan via App Store or Google Play.
- Active subscription users: Wait until your current plan expires, then re-subscribe via App Store or Google Play to get Family Circle.
How to Upgrade Your Subscription
- Install the latest version of Trend Micro ScamCheck.
- Open the ScamCheck app on your device.
- Go to Family Circle and tap Subscribe Now.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your in-app purchase.
