You are unable to buy or renew subscription from the Trend Micro Antivirus One app.
Why did this happen?
- Your may have an unstable Internet connection or have issues with the payment method you are using.
- Your Antivirus One app is corrupted.
What should I do next?
Purchase Trend Micro Antivirus One manually
- Check if you have a stable Internet connection.
- Check if your credit card is still valid and has enough funds.
- Restart your Mac.
- Open Trend Micro Antivirus One, then click the crown icon to proceed with the purchase.
If you still cannot purchase in-app after doing the steps above, Click the Help link you see at the lower right.
Re-install Antivirus One
- Right click the icon of Antivirus One and click Quit.
- Open Finder and click Application.
- Right click Antivirus One and click Move to Trash.
- Delete remaining files of Antivirus One.
- Click Go on the menu bar and click Go to Folder.
- Type "~/Library/Containers", then click on Go.
- Look for the folder "com.trendmicro.DrSafety" and move it to the Trash.
- Empty the Trash and restart the device.
- Open App Store and search for Antivirus One and install.
Note: If you receive "The item Antivirus One can’t be moved to the Trash because some of its extensions are in use.", quit Safari.
Note: Make sure the same Apple ID used in the purchase is signed in.
