You can now use tags in the Password Vault to organize your saved passwords more easily.
Tags replace folders and provide a more flexible way to sort your passwords.

With tags, you can:

  • Create your own categories (for example: Work, Banking, Shopping)
  • Assign multiple tags to a single password
  • Reuse the same tag across different passwords

Organize Your Passwords with Tags

Tags help you quickly find and group passwords based on how you use them.
Once a tag is created, it becomes available for all passwords in your vault.

Add Tags to a Saved Password (Web Browser)

  1. Go to the ID Protection Web Portal.
  2. Click the Vault tab from the left-side menu.
  3. Enter your Trend Micro Account password to unlock your Password Vault.
  4. Click to select the password you want to edit. A pop-up with the account details will appear.
  5. Click Edit in the upper-right corner of the pop-up.
  6. In the Tags section, type your preferred tag name and click Create tag.
    You can add multiple tags to the same password.
  7. Click Save to apply your changes.

Add Tags to a Saved Password (Mobile App)

  1. Open the ID Protection app.
  2. Enter your Trend Micro Account password to unlock your Password Vault.
  3. Tap the ≔ (list) icon next to the password you want to edit.
  4. Tap Edit in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  5. In the Tags section:
    1. Tap + Add tag.
    2. Type your preferred tag name.
    3. Tap Create "[tag name]" tag when it appears.
    4. You can add multiple tags to one password.
  6. Tap Save.

Notes

  • Tags you create are saved and can be reused for other passwords.
  • A password can have more than one tag for better organization.
