It automatically repairs the registry key, file, and folder permissions that Trend Micro needs to install and run correctly on your Windows computer.
Steps to Run the Trend Micro Permission Tool
- Sign in to your Windows computer using an account with administrator privileges.
- Download the Permission Tool here.
- In your Downloads folder, double-click Ti_all_win_en_RegKeyFolderPermissionRecover_Tool0001.exe to launch it.
- Click I accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Next.
- Click Install.
- Click OK once the process is complete.
- Restart your computer.
After restarting, try installing Trend Micro Security again. If the installation completes successfully, you're all set! ✅
🔔 Important Note: Make sure to close any open Trend Micro windows before running the Permission Tool.
