Web Guard keeps turning off (Mobile Security for Android)
PUBLISHED: AUG 20, 2020
The Web Guard feature of your Mobile Security for Android keeps getting disabled. This happens because your device uses Power Saving Mode for power monitoring which stops or sleeps the apps running in the background to save battery.
Web Guard is the new name for SafeSurfing feature.
Most Android phones that comes from a third party manufacturer and a uniquely modified OS are known as 'Custom ROM' phones. It has strict requirements for power maintenance so background apps are frequently turned off.
To keep your Mobile Security and its features active, remove it from your power saving settings and/or add it in Autostart/Autolaunch Apps settings. Steps may vary depending on the device model, if you are unable to find your device below contact our support.
