How to allow permissions for Trend Micro Guardian on Android

Trend Micro Guardian needs permissions to work on your child's phone or tablet so it can start protecting your kids when using the Internet on any WiFi or mobile network.

Set up Permission on Android Phones and Tablets

1. After pairing the device, tap Allow Permissions.
2. On the Allow Permissions screen, tap each listed item to allow each permission.
   • Install VPN Profile and Accessibility
     1. Tap OK.
     2. Tap OK, then select Trend Micro Guardian.
     3. Tap the switch to enable it.
   • Notification access
     1. Tap the switch to enable it.
     2. A pop-up message will appear. Tap Allow.
   • Display over other apps
     1. Tap Allow Draw over other apps.
     2. Tap Turn On Now.
     3. Tap the switch to enable it.
   • Device administrators
     1. Tap Activate this device admin app.
