Download and install the Trend Micro Security extension on your Google Chrome or Chromebook device with any of these three options:

Install Trend Micro from the Chrome Web Store

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store page for Trend Micro Security here:

  2. Click Add to Chrome, then Add Extension and wait for the installation to complete.
  3. Open the Extensions menu in Chrome, find Trend Micro Security, and click Pin for easy access.
  4. Review the Privacy & Personal Data Collection Disclosure, then click Continue.
  5. Read the Trend Micro License Agreement, then click Accept and Start.
  6. Sign in with your Trend Micro account to activate your license.

Install Trend Micro from the Account Portal

  1. Go to the Trend Micro Account Portal here: https://account.trendmicro.com" and log in.
  2. Select the Download tab and click Download to this Device under Trend Micro Security.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.

Add Trend Micro from the main program

  1. Launch the Trend Micro Maximum Security console on your device.
  2. Navigate to the Privacy section and click Configure under Social Networking Protection.
  3. Click Install under the Google Chrome option.
