Updating your router’s firmware can help improve the security of your home network. To keep your network safe and secure, we recommend that you always update your firmware to the most current version.
Type your model number in the search box and select your model from the drop-down menu when it appears.
NOTE: If you do not see a drop-down menu, make sure that you entered your model number correctly or select a product category to browse for your product model.
Click Downloads.
Under Current Versions, select the first download with a title beginning with Firmware Version.
Click Download.
Unzip the new firmware to an easy-to-find location, such as your Desktop.
Follow the firmware upgrade instructions in your product’s user manual under support page of User Guides and Documentation.
NOTES:
Make sure to have a stable power supply connected to your device when doing the firmware update.
It is recommended to perform the firmware update on a wired connection.
