Learn how to invite family members or add devices to a Family Group so you can protect your child together with Trend Micro Family.
What is a Family Group?
Trend Micro Family for Parents provides a Family Group feature that allows up to 8 parent devices to join. Each parent device can access and manage child profiles, set profile rules, add child devices, and view the activity dashboard.
Add a Family Member
To add someone to a family group:
Expand All
On the main parent device
Add a Family Member on the main parent device
- On your mobile device, open the Trend Micro Family for Parents app.
- Tap the button you see on the lower right corner.
You should see a Family Group QR code on the top of the screen.
- Scan the QR code to add the device.
On a new parent device
Add a Family Member on a new parent device
- Install Trend Micro Family for Parents on another iOS or Android smartphone.
- Open the Trend Micro Family for Parents app on the new parent device.
- Tap Accept and Continue.
- Select Join Family Group.
- Tap Let's Do it.
- Choose Allow to enable Camera Permissions to scan the QR code.
- Scan the Family Group QR code on the main parent device app to join the family group.
- Tap OK to start using the feature.
