Switch ON/OFF Highlight links when Trend Micro rates them

  1. Click the Extensions icon, then choose Trend Micro Security. Pin the extension to show the icon.

  2. Click the Trend Micro Toolbar icon on your web browser, then choose Settings.

  3. Under Web Threat Protection, toggle the switch beside Highlight rated links to turn it ON or OFF .

    Turn off Highlight rated links on Trend Micro Toolbar Settings

    Turning it OFF will still let you see the safety rating of page links, but it will not be highlighted. It will not have any security risks.

    If you cannot see this under Settings, you may be using an older version of the Trend Micro Toolbar: Click here for instructions on how to update Trend Micro Toolbars and Extensions.


Note: There is no available option to change the color of the highlights. The only option provided is to enable or disable the feature.
