No Internet Connection when Trend Micro VPN is Enabled

1. Click Start , then go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. You can also access it via the shortcut button below:

2. Check for other antivirus or security apps installed, then click Remove or Uninstall.
3. Wait for the program to uninstall, then restart your computer.

OpenVPN

WireGuard

WireGuard is a modern VPN Protocol used by many VPN companies as it provides a more secure and faster browsing experience.

Smart

This protocol will automatically choose between OpenVPN and WireGuard based on their performance. To avoid VPN disconnection, Trend Micro recommends using the Smart protocol.
